-Personal AU with elements of both Pokemon and Harvest Moon.
-Protagonists are basically the male and female protagonists from HM reincarnated.
-Result of a farmer who gave away his only child for a wish many many years ago.
-The farmer's wish was meant to bless his child with a long, fulfilling, abundant life.
-The wish was well intended, but the nature of it was ambiguous, so several Deities in the area conspired to use it to their advantage.
-The protagonist became the first proxy, reincarnated either when they complete the tasks or reach the end of their life.
-Other Deities followed the first example, when others made wishes.
-The majority of Deities were cursed, all due to various reasons. They cannot leave their designated area until said curse is lifted. Some are unable to leave at all.
-The Deities, such as the Harvest Goddess, Harvest Sprites, Harvest King, Witch, Wizard etc. are Pokemon. Reocurring characters such as Van/The Merchant and The Mayor(s) are Professors?? (will be worked out later)
-The tendency is that the proxies die young, though there were a couple exceptions (a couple of Gold's future reincarnations will fall under this).
-The fate isn't scary rotten, other than the inability to change the repetitiveness, and losing loved ones which becomes mundane if the memories don't disappear.
-Gold was the first to discover these cycles, and the first to bargain for Villagers' to be reincarnated as well. (He insisted they helped him perform the duties etc.)
-He pushes the changes in his first cycle, also encouraging the idea that the proxies didn't always have to be reborn entirely new...maybe just "updated." (can extend their life cycle, not always necessarily reincarnation)
-This triggers the conflict that occurs between Gold, Kris, and Lyra in the current cycle.
-He unintentionally makes Kris disappear, the Deities replacing her with Lyra.
-The two of them are BFFs third cycle, until Gold starts recalling things that should have been erased, and Kris shows up as a ghost.




More Physical Dynamics (to be worked out later on)
-Despite the PKMN replacing the animals, there isn't much battling that goes on. The locations where the Deities often reside are pretty contained in their own time, with the residents in touch with nature so they don't go fucking around with it. Contests and races are held though in some cases.
-The Pokemon spotted in the worlds they come from are based off domesticated animals and those from the present. Meaning Charizards, Venusaurs, but won't be spotted (maybe in a blue moon)--proxies can go a lifetime without seeing one fully.
-Growlithes are typically norm dogs. Will eventually become an Arcanine.
-Generation limitations per reincarnate?
-Ghosts/magical etc. are a common occurrence.
-Rivals are either reoccurring Villagers or subjected to proxy fate (reincarnation dictates this)
-Have the ridiculously large rucksacks.
-Harvest Sprites are assigned to Legendaries usually in trios or duos.
-The main equivalent of the Harvest Goddess is Celebi, or rather, the many Celebis from different times.
-Proxies will rarely be unable to recall a childhood or adolescence.
